How do I update my credit card?

You can update your billing information online in the customer service portal. Once logged in, under Account then Billing click on the Edit icon under Payment Method. Once updated, click Save.

Where can I get an accounting invoice?

From your customer service portal, under “Account” go to “Billing” then “Invoices” and search by date range then from the results, click on the “Invoice ID” to view details.

Where do I find my Call Detail Reports?

After logging into your account, select “Reports” then “Calls” from the sub-menu. Adjust the date range and submit. To review details for a specific call, click on the Call ID link. You will find call duration, head count, telephone numbers, and participant entry and leave times.

Where do I see how many minutes I used on a call?

From your customer service portal, under “Reports” go to “Calls”. Calls will be listed in most recent first and to see the total minutes look under Duration.

How are pay per-use minutes calculated?

Your minutes are counted per minute, per caller. To quickly identify how many minutes a call will be, multiply the number of attendees with the total duration of your call in minutes. How do I change my plan?

After logging into your account, go to Account then Billing. You’ll see a “Change Plan” option next to your conference code. Click that link and select your updated plan then hit submit when you are done.

How do I cancel a subscription plan?

After logging in to your account, go to Account then Billing and you’ll see a “Delete” option for your conference code. Select delete to remove your conference code which will also end your plan.

How do I see my current plan?

After logging in, underneath your Conference Code you’ll see the plan associated with your conference code from your Dashboard.

Does toll-free service cover international callers?

International callers falling outside the United States and Canada can access the service using a direct US toll number, or they can use a local geographic or toll-free number if their country is supported. Click here to review supported countries and rates.

What is the Taxes & Fees line item on my bill?

Vast Conference includes applicable state and/or local government sales tax specific to the customer’s geographic location, based on the billing zip code. Additionally, Vast Conference includes administrative cost recovery fees on audio services to recover its costs associated with regulatory requirements and compliance and other costs imposed by its underlying telecommunications carriers on Vast.

What is the Universal Service Fund (USF)?

The Universal Service Fund (USF) is a government administered fund to support the provision of telecommunications services in rural and high cost areas, to low income consumers and to schools, libraries and healthcare facilities nationwide. All telecommunications providers contribute to the USF on an equal percentage. The contribution factor changes quarterly and represents a percentage of end user revenues.

What is the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC)?

The Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) is an entity created by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to administer the federal Universal Service Fund. USAC is responsible for collecting contributions owed by contributors and for making support payments to entities eligible for reimbursement from the Fund.

How much is the USF fee imposed by the USAC?

The USF fee is set by the FCC quarterly and collected by USAC. The fee is a percentage of end-user revenues.

Which government agency is responsible for the USF?

Congress authorized the FCC to implement the Universal Service Fund. The USF is mandated by Section 254 of the Communications Act.

How is this identified on my billing?

USF allocation is displayed on your invoice per FCC regulations as a separate, clearly defined line item. A description may also be printed on the invoice defining what the fee is and where more information can be found.

Do non-profit organizations have to pay these fees as well?

Yes, the USF fee is not a sales tax and is mandated for all telecommunication services. Charitable, not-for-profit and religious organizations are not exempt from the Universal Service Fund fee.

Why are you collecting this USF fee for conference calls?

The decision made by the FCC requires Vast Conference and all other audio conference providers to file quarterly forms with USAC that show all telecommunications sold and remit the fee assessed by the FCC. Vast Conference is complying with the order of the FCC.

Do all conferencing providers also have this fee on audio conferencing calls?

Yes, the FCC order from June 30, 2008 states that all providers of telecommunications which includes audio conferencing must comply and contribute. The FCC has directed the USAC to ensure that all conferencing service providers abide.
